A pyroelectric detector is a wide-spectrum infrared detector at room temperature. It has a wide range of applications in analytical instruments. The conventional method of obtaining a broad spectral response is to coat a photosensitive surface with a material having a high absorption coefficient such as gold and black. Since the absorption coefficient of gold and black is inversely proportional to the wavelength, in order to increase the absorption rate of long wavelength, the thickness of gold and black must be very thick, which will undoubtedly greatly reduce the response rate. In this paper, the absorption formula of metal-transparent media-metal sandwich structure deduced from Siberg is obtained.
