火热的北京奥运会,全世界的数十亿双眼睛除了看到各国运动员争金夺银的风采外,也同时在各个场合领略到了中国企业的形象和产品,北京奥运会为中国的企业提供了向世界展示自身实力的绝佳舞台。就在北京奥运如火如荼之际,2008年8月18日下午,一场别开生面的“北京奥运会上的中国科技·文化企业”集体专题采访会在2008北京国际新闻中心(BIMC)适时举行,以北京元培世纪翻译有限公司、新奥特硅谷视频技术有限责任公司、北京水晶石数字科技有限公司、贝发集团为代表的四家中国企业的领军人,接受中外记者的采访,并现场回答记者提问。在这四家优秀的民族企业中,元培世纪翻译为奥组委等16个机构提供了英、法及其他50多个小语种的笔译、同传和交传的优质服务,被誉为“中国笔王”的贝发集团则是北京奥运文具独家供应商。其中,作为电子中文翻译服务供应商的新奥特公司,以及作为奥运图像设计服务供应商的水晶石公司更是倍受本刊的关注。
