目的:探讨基质金属蛋白-9(MMP-9)蛋白及mRNA在乳腺癌中的表达。方法:采用免疫组化和半定量RT-PCR的方法检测45例乳腺癌及20例乳腺良性病变中MMP-9蛋白及mRNA的水平。结果:MMP-9蛋白及mRNA在乳腺良性病变组织中几乎不表达,乳腺癌中表达率显著增高,各组间差异有显著性,而且MMP-9过表达与淋巴结转移有关。结论:MMP-9在乳腺癌侵袭和转移中发挥重要作用,有可能作为判断乳腺癌浸润转移能力的参考指标之一。
Objective: To investigate the expression of matrix metalloprotein-9 (MMP-9) protein and mRNA in breast cancer. Methods: The levels of MMP-9 protein and mRNA in 45 cases of breast cancer and 20 cases of benign breast lesions were detected by immunohistochemistry and semi-quantitative RT-PCR. Results: MMP-9 protein and mRNA were almost not expressed in benign breast lesions. The expression rate of MMP-9 in breast cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in benign breast lesions. There was a significant difference between the two groups. MMP-9 overexpression was associated with lymph node metastasis. Conclusion: MMP-9 plays an important role in the invasion and metastasis of breast cancer and may be used as a reference index to evaluate the invasion and metastasis of breast cancer.
