“Yi” is the first systematic philosophical thought book in ancient China, which covers the cognition and description of the ancestors’ laws of the universe and the changes of things. There was an early sprout of the rational concept in the Book of Changes, but this concept of rationalization did not continue to be inherited in later cultural history. However, there are also some deviations in the dissemination and interpretation of “Yi” itself, resulting in the marginalization and mystification of Yi Studies so that its texts are eventually excluded from the core circle of the Central Plains culture. The occurrence of this phenomenon is closely linked with the peculiarities of the farming civilization system.
