To take advantage of innovative technologies to bring automotive connectivity, mobility, autopilot technology, consumer experience and big data consolidation to even higher levels, the U.S. carmaker Ford on January 6, 2015 at the International Consumer Electronics Show Announced the “Smart Mobility Plan” at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). As a first step toward the program, 25 mobile trials will be conducted worldwide to test innovative transport concepts to create a better consumer experience, a more flexible car ownership model, and a social collaboration model that rewards consumers. Eight of these are in North America and nine are in Europe and Africa
