近年来,椒江区委区政府在科技创新工作中,始终坚持千辛万苦当“猎手”,做一个沙里淘金者；千言万语当“红娘”,做一个牵线搭桥者；千家万户当“使者”,做一个科技传播者。在“三千精神”的感召下,“猎手”、“红娘”、“使者”三重角色科技创强大显身手,椒江区科技工作取得了较好的成绩,被国家科技部列入“全国科技进步示范区”,被评为“全国科技进步先进区”和“浙江省首批科技强区”等称号。
