Understanding the history, social and political background of musical works can stimulate the students ’interest in learning music and promote the overall development of people. This article analyzes the relationship between music and other disciplines, the role of humanistic accomplishments in music teaching and how to improve students’ Literacy and other aspects of the humanities in the advantages of music teaching.
