The institutions of higher learning in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region have conducted more than 30 years of teaching Chinese to ethnic minority students. For more than 30 years, with the guidance of the party’s education policy, our district has made great achievements in Chinese teaching for ethnic students and made important contributions to the development of cultural and educational undertakings and training of science and technology personnel of all ethnic groups in our country.
