四川农业大学水稻研究所所长周开达教授,今年57岁。他从事杂交水稻育种经历了25个春秋,并同黎汉云研究员及其他科技人员一道,为我国杂交水稻研究和应用作出了重大贡献。去年9月初的一天,我们前往四川农业大学水稻研究所参观周教授及其同仁新发现的一种水稻种质材料。我利用这一机会采访了周教授,请他谈谈有关进一步加强科研与生产相结合的问题。
Professor Zhou Kaida, director of Rice Research Institute of Sichuan Agricultural University, is 57 years old this year. He has been engaged in hybrid rice breeding for 25 spring and autumn, and together with researcher Li Hanyun and other scientific and technological personnel, made a significant contribution to the research and application of hybrid rice in China. One day in early September last year, we went to the Rice Research Institute of Sichuan Agricultural University to visit a newly discovered rice germplasm material discovered by Professor Zhou and colleagues. I took this opportunity to interview Professor Zhou and ask him to talk about the issue of further strengthening the integration of scientific research with production.
