第13届迪拜国际航空展签约逾两千亿美元
11月17日，第13届迪拜国际航空展在阿联酋新建的迪拜世界中心机场开幕，BAE公司、洛克希德-马丁公司、MBDA公司、达索公司等西方军火巨头都拿出自己的拳头产品，以期获取来自中东石油大亨的订单。其中，中国参展商中国航空工业集团公司展出了“枭龙”战机、“运-12F”运输机、AC-312直升机以及首次在国际航空航天展上亮相的U8E无人直升机等模型，吸引不少对“神秘”的中国航空界的发展持好奇心的观众。
据会后统计，本届展会共有来自60多个国家的1，046名展商与超过六万名专业观众，展会现场订单金额逾两千亿美元，创该展开展26年来最高纪录。下届展会将于2015年11月8-12日举行。（车小月）
第12届沙迦中国商品交易会暨中国农业产品展开幕
中国商务部和阿联酋沙迦酋长国政府共同主办、中国国际经济技术交流中心承办、中国机电产品展览中心、济南润土农业科技有限公司协办的“第十二届沙迦中国商品交易会暨首届中国农业产品展”（CCFS）于2013年12月16日在阿联酋沙迦世贸中心隆重开幕。
CCFS自2002年起，已连续举办十二届。展会成交额累计超过50亿美元，效果显著。自去年起，从综合性展会向中国农业产品主题展转型，今年展会云集了来自全国18个省份的近200家参展企业，其中包括十余个省级单位展团，国内参展商近300余人，展览面积4，000平方米。展区分布方面，农副产品占50%，农业生产资料占20%，农业装备占20%，农业科技占10%。本届CCFS还首次邀请了韩国企业参展，标志着展会参展商从单一中国企业向国际化发展。（苏希玲）

12月27日，国际展览局第154次全体代表大会在法国巴黎投票，选举2020年世博会主办城市，阿联酋迪拜成为最后的赢家。2020年迪拜世博会的主题是“心系彼此，共创未来”。迪拜王储哈姆丹·阿勒马克图姆在竞标成功后承诺，迪拜将为世人呈现一场令人惊艳的世博会。
世博会每五年举办一届。迪拜当局称，2020年世博会将为迪拜带来约230亿美元的收入。同时，举办这场时长为6个月的博览会将花费84亿美元资金，其中，政府将投入65亿美元用于基础设施建设。为举办这场盛事，迪拜将兴建一个巨型展览中心和一些酒店，并扩建全国地铁系统。（雒紫宇）
Dubai Airshow 2013 Deals hit Historical High
The Dubai Airshow 2013 was an overwhelming success drawing 60，692 trade attendees from around the world along with 1，046 exhibitors from 60 countries. Yet again the event proved to be one where deals are made， with a total order of $206.1 billion.
This year， Chinese exhibitor Aviation Industry Corporation of China presented a series of models of their latest advanced products and attracted visitors who were eager to look into the progress of China’s aerospace industry. The next session of the Dubai Airshow will be held at the Dubai World Central from 8th to 12th November 2015. （Che Xiaoyue）
12th Chinese Commodities Fair Sharjia and China Agriculture Expo successfully opened
The 12th Chinese Commodities Fair Sharjia and China Agriculture Expo （CCFS） was successfully opened in Sharjia on 16th December， 2013. The exhibition was jointly sponsored by the Ministry of China and Sharjia UAE Government and was organized by China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges.
CCFS was first held in 2002， and has been held for twelve years as an annual event. It has generated a total turnover of five billion dollars . Since last year， CCFS was gradually transformed from a comprehensive exhibition to an agriculture-themed exhibition. CCFS 2013 gathered around 200 companies from 18 provinces in China， including about ten provincial exhibition delegation groups.There were around 300 exhibitors in all and the total exhibition space was 4，000 m2. Farming products accounted for 50% of the exhibits， farming means of production 20%， farming equipments 20%， and farming technology 1 0 % . T h i s y e a r ， t h e organizing committee of the exhibition also invited Korean enterprises for the first time， marking the effort to transform CCFS from a Chinese exhibition to an international one.（Celion Su）
Dubai won the 2020 Wold Expo
Dubai will be the first Middle Eastern city tohold the Expo， which takes place every five years. The theme of the expo is"Connecting Minds，Creating the Future.""We renew our promise to astonish the world in 2020，" said Sheikh alMaktoum after the win.
Dubai authorities say the Expo 2020 will bring in around$23bn. They say financing for the six-month event will cost a total of $8.4bn， with the government spending around$6.5bn on infrastructure projects. A huge exhibition centre will be built to host the event， plus new hotels and an extension to Dubai’s metro line. （Grace Luo）
