本文根据桓台史家殷商文化遗址与高青陈庄发现周公东征设防薄姑的相对距离,位置及其遗物、遗迹有关情况推断,所谓桓台史家商代文化遗址,是周公东征设防陈庄一带,以继续威慑、监理东夷旧部中的主要敌对势力“薄姑”国的一个都址。又根据桓台史家发现族姓徽文方面的资料,并证以文献资料、金文资料推定,有商一代居住在桓台史家的“薄姑”国一族的本名,是一个与商代王室通婚、关系至为密切,为现代学者称其为亚其或箕()的一族。至于亚其或箕()的族,所以又有“薄姑”即矢镞“僕姑”一名,原因在于亚其或箕()先民,以箭神、射神夷羿为宗神,有崇武、尚箭之风,或因此族有崇拜矢镞、弓箭类射具为神灵的习惯,也或因其与敌交锋临阵,有披挂矢镞、弓箭类射具的风习,故而得此别名、混称。
