The battle of Henan and Hunan and Guangxi was the last battle of the Anti-Japanese War. The Japanese army launched its war with the largest force and the longest duration and the strongest combat zone. The failure of the Chinese side in this battle is inseparably linked to the political corruption of the Kuomintang government and military backwardness and is even more directly linked to Japan. Take Henan Battle as an example. Before the war, the Japanese government made a positive war general mobilization as well as specific tactical preparation. At the same time, it paid close attention to the situation of the Kuomintang government, collected intelligence and also provided full support for its troops and weapons and equipment. The organic connection between the command and command organs of the Japanese Army and various combat units made the Japanese side always in a favorable war situation. It can be said that the defeat of the KMT government in the battle of Hunan and Guangxi was a necessary outcome of the war.
