Extensive use of human leukemia stem-like elemental (HLIF) cells causes a sharp drop in leukemic cells in patients with advanced leukemia and ameliorates the symptoms, but with no benefit in small doses, it has been reported that dry glucagon inhibits CFU-C and Leukemic stem cells form colonies in vitro; they also specifically inhibit “self renewal” of leukemic stem cells.
