The article reviews the process of the establishment of China’s Federation of Societies and its historical significance. It is believed that the CUN for the party solidarity and training a large number of theoretical writers, effectively promoted the wide spread of Marxism, made an important contribution to the formation and development of Mao Zedong Thought. Inheriting and promoting the glorious tradition of the China Federation of Social Services, making Henan social science prosperity and development. We must inherit the revolutionary and academic tradition of China Federation of Social Sciences, study Jiang Zemin’s inscription for the Shanghai Federation of Socialism and further improve the work of the Federation.
