世界著名的奥地利指挥家卡尔·伯姆(Karl B(?)hm 1894～1981)生于奥地利南部阿尔卑斯山中的格拉茨,这座民风纯朴的古老城市接近南斯拉夫和意大利,保持着浓郁的奥地利传统习惯。伯姆的父亲具有德国血统,在格拉茨任律师,是市立剧院的法律顾问,母亲是法国人。这是一个热爱瓦格纳音乐的家庭。伯姆的钢琴启蒙教师是市立剧院的竖琴演奏家,他从小培养了伯姆对歌剧的兴趣。伯姆先后在格拉茨和维也纳音乐学院就学,曾在格拉茨大学攻读法律并获得法学博士称号。 1916年伯姆在格拉茨歌剧院担任指挥实习生,不久后正式登台演出。1921年伯姆应聘到慕尼黑歌剧院担任指挥,此后在达姆斯塔特、汉堡、德累斯顿、维也纳、伦敦科文特花园、纽约大都会歌剧院等地的指挥台上都曾给听众留下难以磨灭的回忆。
World famous Austrian conductor Karl Böhm (1894-1981) was born in Graz in the Austrian Alps, a rustic, ancient city close to Yugoslavia and Italy, maintaining its strong Austrian tradition . Bohm’s father, a German ancestry, worked as a lawyer in Graz, is a legal counsel for the Municipal Theater, and his mother is French. This is a family that loves Wagner music. Bohm’s piano enlightenment teacher is a harpist at the City Theater, where he trained Bo’s interest in opera. Bohm has studied at the Graz and Vienna Conservatory, studied law at the University of Graz and received the title of JD. In 1916 Bohm acted as command intern at the Graz Opera, and soon became an official appearance. In 1921, Böhm was commissioned to perform at the Munich Opera House, whereupon he was given his audience on podiums in Darmstadt, Hamburg, Dresden, Vienna, Covent Garden in London and the Metropolitan Opera in New York Leave an indelible memory.
