During the first Chinese Arts Festival, the Sichuan Opera House in Sichuan Province performed a drama called “The Legend of the White Snake.” The show won a warm welcome from the capital’s audience with its magnificent mythology and thrilling artistic skills. On September 19, commissioned by the China Arts Festival Organizing Committee, Dramatic Newspaper Drama Research and Drama Criticism jointly invited leaders and experts from the capital theater industry to hold a discussion on the performance of “The White Snake”.
