红菱24型自行车和红菱50型两用车,需要生产各种不同直径的圆管形护套工件,直径分别为:φ14mm×2mm,φ18mm×2mm,φ10mm×1mm,φ21mm×1.5mm等。工件长度为5~84mm,不同长度共有15种之多,而且产量大。原采用钢管在车床上切断的工艺方法进行生产,工效低,成本高,为了解决以上矛盾,设计研制了一副多工位的连续冲模,采用在冲床上进行冲压成形的新工艺,从而提高工效近十倍,满足了生产的需要,并大大降低了成本,达到提高经济效益的目的。
