“The goal of an organization is to make every ordinary person do ordinary things. ” Management master Peter Drucker once wrote such a view. But that is often just one part of it. Because these “no ordinary things” must be directly supportive of the strategic objectives of the organization in terms of enhancing the overall competitiveness of the organization. If a strategy exists only within the top team of an organization, its effectiveness is weak. In order to foster a unified approach, the strategy must be delivered and implemented by employees at every level, with no exceptions. However, many companies failed to reach such an alliance for strategy. A survey shows that two-thirds of employees do not know the strategy of their company and only one-third of them feel that their work is closely linked to the company.
