Stumper 首次将单平面探头原型经食道超声心动图(TEE)成功地应用于22例做过导管介入治疗的先心病儿童。TEE作为一种附加于心导管检查的半侵入性诊断术,它需要气管内插管和全身麻醉。文献中曾报道1例体重为9.5kg的患儿在通过直径为10mm的TEE探头时没有发生并发症。但也有作者报道268例TEE中,有4例产生并发症。单平面TEE能精确地显示房、室的解剖特点,曾检出1例术前漏诊的房间隔
For the first time, Stumper successfully applied single planar probe transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) to 22 children with congenital heart disease who underwent catheterization. TEE, a semi-invasive diagnostic that is attached to a cardiac catheterization, requires endotracheal intubation and general anesthesia. It has been reported in the literature that 1 patient with a body weight of 9.5 kg had no complications when passing through a 10 mm diameter TEE probe. However, some authors report 268 cases of TEE, 4 cases of complications.
