龙眼是南方的名贵水果,鲜果、桂圆干和糖水罐头是国内外极为畅销的产品,深受顾客欢迎,几年来福建、广东大有发展趋势。由于其品种成熟期集中(8月下旬至9月中旬),果实不易贮运,每年都因运销和加工困难而有不少果实腐烂,造成很大损失。所以选育早晚熟龙眼新品种,对延长市场供应和加工时间显得极为重要。1978年以来我所在龙眼主产区的生产、技术部门的支持下,选出的几个早晚熟的优良单株中,评选出果大、肉厚、含糖量高的特晚熟优良新品种“立冬本”,供生产上推广应用。1985年 Longan is a valuable southern fruit, fresh fruit, dried longan and canned sugar is a very popular product at home and abroad, welcomed by customers, Fujian, Guangdong over the past few years, great trends.
