《黄金时代》以其直接的先锋模式——打通了与观众之间的第四面墙。不断的让剧中人物跳出来与观众以空间直述、访谈式等方式来叙事,产生了一种打破戏剧性、观众窥私欲的间离效果,其超时代的线性逻辑,犹如意识流小说般,可在一个不受空间与时间限制的条件下,给予观影者一个不抱任何奇情故事的态度去观影的想象环境。于这一点上来审视这部作品,其架构和其诠释方式,在当下中国电影中非常少见,艺术形式上极具有挖掘价值。
