俄国大文豪托尔斯泰曾说过:“成功的教学所需要的不是强制,而是激发学生的兴趣。”“教人未见意趣,必不乐学。”由此可见,激发学生的兴趣在教学活动中起着非常重要的作用。然而,在职高英语教学中,普遍存在着一种现象,那就是大多数学生对英语学习缺乏兴趣,部分学生甚至厌烦英语,视上英语课简直为“受罪”或“煎熬”。为何职高英语教学会陷入如此尴尬局面呢?很显然,这跟他们的初中英语基础非常不扎实有关。另外,职高生还普遍存在着学习积极性差、学习能力不强、思想素质偏低、缺乏恒心与毅力等不足之处。面对这样的教学现状,如何提高职高英语课堂教学的气氛,激发学生们的学习兴趣可以采取了以下六方面的教学策略。
