民初“礼拜六派”阵营的期刊发表刊载了许多“忆语体”作品,它们皆是《影梅庵忆语》与《浮生六记》等一类文本的仿作,且以小说为主。而实际上,此类仿作自清末南社对《影梅庵忆语》的重印和模仿开始,又因《浮生六记》的发现和宣传讨论而波及一时的文学潮流和文学创作。盖自清末对文学地位、文本情感功能的重视,“言情”作品便成为一种趋势,“礼拜六派”通俗文学的流行实是清末民初推重真“情”的发展结果,而“忆语体”作品也经历了一个由南社的“笔记体”仿作到“礼拜六派”的小说体仿作的演变过程。
