A news story in 2016 detonated the science and technology community. NASA astronauts successfully sequenced DNA under microgravity at the International Space Station. It also proved that humans are capable of gene sequencing in space living organisms. NASA Astronaut Kate Rubins successfully completes DNA sequencing under microgravity within the International Space Station, marking the first time that DNA sequencing and Earth’s results have “matched” perfectly with NASA’s official website. Humans have usher in a new era of gene sequencing of space living organisms. Rubins, who just finished the sequencing mission, said she was with her colleagues on the ground
