杜杰于1959年11月生于我国甘肃省兰州市。作为北京的一位职业画家和中国美术家协会会员,自上世纪80年代初他的作品就多次参加国内外的各种展览,他还先后走出国门远赴美国、塞舌尔等国和香港地区举办个人画展。他的作品《牧童》、《西山晴雪》、《在山上》等曾被中国美术馆和国外的一些美术机构收藏。杜杰是一个具有着浓厚传统人文情怀的画家,他的心灵总是在那些唯美的 Du Jie was born in November 1959 in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. As a professional painter in Beijing and a member of the Chinese Artists Association, his works have participated in various exhibitions both at home and abroad since the early 1980s.
