A research report by family psychologist John Rosemund points out that watching television is a deprivation of a child’s life experience during the formation of a child’s personality. If preschoolers watch 20 hours a week of television (surveys show that most children watch television for longer), by the time they were in their first grade, they had spent 4,000 hours in front of the flashing television screen the above. And 4000 hours of sitting children, will undermine their ability to learn. From 1 year old to 7 years old, the influence of the environment imposes a permanent imprint on the central nervous system and affects the establishment of children’s major neurological functions, including long-time attention and reasoning ability.
