There was a problem with the trailer towing hitch for the 1997-2000 Expedition and Navigator produced at Ford Truck and Trucking Works in Michigan from 1997 to December 9, 1999. As a result, Ford Motor Co. issued a recall notice for the trailer towing hitch to the owners of these models.
