Objective To observe the effect of low frequency, moderate intensity noise on human performance of hidden graphics and velocity estimation. Methods Twenty healthy young male subjects were exposed for 2 hours at 85 and 95 dB (A), respectively. Hidden profile and velocity estimation tasks were tested and compared with 50 dB (A) exposure for 2 hours as self-control. Results Compared with the control, exposure to 95dB (A) noise for 2 hours resulted in a significant prolongation of average response time (P <0.05) and a decrease in performance and overall performance (P <0.01). The accuracy of speed estimation decreased significantly (P <0.01), and the main component of error was significantly lower (P <0.01). However, under the condition of 85dB (A) noise exposure for 2 hours, the overall performance decline and the estimated underestimation of speed estimation operation were significantly higher (P <0.05). Conclusions The exposure for 2 hours under 85 and 95 dB (A) intensity noise conditions has an impact on the performance of the hidden pattern and speed estimation tasks, indicating that in the current standards of hygienic standards for hearing protection, the allowable range of noise Strength, the more complex or mental workload of the larger task of ergonomics will have a certain impact.
