联合光纤通信股份有限公司立于1984年。公司的主要产品由当初单纯的光缆及光终端机之制造、销售、迄今进入多样化产品之研发、制造及销售,而投资的触角更是遍及光纤传输以外的有线电视、多媒体、网路存取、数据通信、用户终端、系统工程整合设计以及数据服务等产业。 公司成立至今,经过多年的努力,已获得下列可观的成果: 技术研发方面: 联合光纤之研发技术来源有三方面:(1)延揽海外学有专精、经验丰富的专家,领导岛内高品质的研发工程人员。(2)与岛内研究机构如电信研究所、工研院电通所及大专院校技术合作。(3)与岛外技术合作及转移,联合光纤除与美国AT＆T在传输与光缆方面签有技术转移合约外,并与AT&T贝尔实验室合作专案研究计划,先后完成DACS Ⅱ—ISX及
Joint Optical Fiber Communication Co., Ltd. was established in 1984. The main products of the company are the manufacture and sale of pure fiber optic cables and optical terminals, and the development, manufacture and sales of diversified products so far. Since the establishment of the company, after years of hard work, we have obtained the following remarkable results: Technology R&D: The joint R&D technology of the optical fiber has three sources: (1) We have overseas experts who have specialization and experience to lead the island’s high quality R & D engineers. (2) Technical cooperation with research institutes such as Telecommunications Research Institute, ITRI Institute of Technology and universities. (3) Technical cooperation and transfer outside the island. In addition to the technology transfer contract between AT&T and AT&T in the United States, the joint fiber optic project cooperated with AT&T Bell Laboratories to conduct research projects and completed the DACS II-ISX.
