为探明腰椎间盘突出等压迫因素对腰神经根挤压及产生下肢放射痛的机理作者选择了32只大鼠,随机分为对照组、4天观察组、10天观察组和30天观察组。通过手术切除L4,5棘突,咬除椎板及L4,5右侧关节突后,暴露马尾神经及L5神经根,置硅胶片于L5神经根和硬膜囊连接处,观察造模后4天、10天、30天时大鼠下肢神经功能和压迫局部的病理变化情况,证实了该动物模型的成功,确立了硅胶片压迫腰神经根模型的建立,从而为研究腰椎间盘突出及根性神经痛提供了较理想的模型。
