The founding meeting of the Japan Society of Japan and the Japan Symposium on China were held at the Yuanwanglou Hotel, Beijing from February 19 to 21, 1990. Nearly 80 representatives of relevant units from all over the country attended the meeting. Japanese Ambassador to China Hashimoto Shu sent a congratulatory message to the Assembly. China Japan Society was officially established on the 20th. The Society is a popular folk academic troupe of researchers on the Japanese nation
