小苗直插是在温室两段育秧基础上发展起来的。由于温室两段育秧,在秧田寄栽小苗时,冷手冷脚,群众感到不方便。为了简化育秧环节,不搞寄栽也能夺取高产。于1983年在我区武胜、仪陇、营山、西充、岳池等县进行了温室小苗直插大田高产试验。试验结果,小苗直插平均亩产1,184斤,比温室两段育秧亩产968.4斤多收215.6斤,增产22.26%。1984年全区又示范小苗直插2.6万亩,平均亩产1,114斤,比温室两段秧多收107斤,增产
