新闻摄影是用可视形象来再现事物和传播真理的,它是教育人民的形象化的工具,也是向敌人进行斗争的形象化的武器。文字新闻完全是运用语言文字来进行宣传,而新闻照片主要是以其自身的形象来向千百万群众说话的。尽管每张照片都有文字说明——新闻照片不可分割的一部分。但是它只能作为照片形象的补充和解释。照片的形象应该有说明问题的能力,能传达出作者的意图和思想感情,从而感染读者,并达到预期的宣传效果,这是一张新闻照片的起码要
