In the seventies of South Sichuan Gas Field, it was in the stage of stable production and capacity construction. Water vapor wells generally have adopted a “see the water pressure” of the simple switch gate mode of production. With the rapid expansion of the scale of natural gas production, many gas wells have emerged from the water in succession and output has drastically decreased. To solve the rational exploitation of water and gas fields has become a major issue in the gas production process at that time. In September 1969, the southern Sichuan mining area first conducted exploratory experiments on drainage and gas production at Well N6 in the lower part of the structure. As a result, a production well with a gap of up to several times flooded with a pressurized water supply and gas recovery turned into a gas production rate of 3.9% or more, a system recovery of 61.5% or more, and a steady production of 14 years Three stable wells. According to the practice of Well N6, for the formation of a closed-pore gas reservoir with fractures and water bodies of limited fractures and water bodies, although the gas production process is difficult, it is only necessary to formulate a three-stable early Drainage system, the mining process can still be the maximum allowable yield, long-term continuous stable yield and high ultimate recovery. Since the beginning of this issue, we will open up a column entitled “Examples of Gas Well Management” with successive publication of experiences in water and gas well management and the exchange of brothers gas fields, and hopefully aroused extensive discussions. In the meantime, consultancy services on gas well management techniques will be developed to the reader’s request.
