宋秀荣,女,莱州市莱州镇南关村人。莱州城乡,年节贴窗花,遇喜庆事贴喜花,风俗久远,至今繁盛。近城剪纸能手,每年腊月都制作大批窗花、喜花于腊月集上设摊出售,宋秀荣就是这批卖花人中的一员。她的作品大多是当地流行的成套窗花:四幅“窗角”,一幅“窗心”,配合若干“小花”。内容多为鸟、鱼、花卉、吉祥图案。所作双鱼喜花,大方洒脱,喜气洋洋又清丽脱俗。1990年春节前她在莱州大集上设摊,作品有100多种,几乎件件精致,没有粗制之作。她所剪的“小花”,有许多传统作品。“千本莲”剪五个活泼儿童共生一藕,各擎
