本文以重庆市1997-2010年为研究时间段,以环境库兹涅茨曲线假说为理论基础,对重庆市人均生产总值和碳排放量进行了相关研究。研究结果表明,从1997年至2010年,重庆市的碳排放量是随着人均生产总值的增长而持续增加,总体上呈倒“U”型曲线。碳排放量会随着经济总量的增大而不断增长,这一现象的出现也主要是由目前所处的工业发展时期的国情决定的。为合理协调经济发展与碳排放量,重庆市应该提倡低碳经济的发展,合理调整能源结构,优化产业结构,积极倡导低碳生活方式,构建低碳示范城市。
Based on the Kuznets Curve Hypothesis of Chongqing Municipality from 1997 to 2010 as the study period, this paper studies the per capita GDP and carbon emissions in Chongqing. The results show that from 1997 to 2010, carbon emissions in Chongqing increased continuously with the growth of per capita GDP, and the overall trend was “U”. Carbon emissions will continue to grow as the total economy grows. The appearance of this phenomenon is also mainly determined by the current national conditions of the industrial development period. To reasonably coordinate economic development and carbon emissions, Chongqing Municipality should promote the development of a low-carbon economy, reasonably adjust the energy structure, optimize the industrial structure, actively promote a low-carbon lifestyle and build a low-carbon demonstration city.
