The development of somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) embryos remains poor.The efficiency of SCNT is dependent on production of viable embryos.The in vitro culture environment exerts significant effects on the embryos development.Research has shown that SCNT embryos have low development because of reactive oxygen accumulation in SCNT process.As we all know the antioxidant can improve the embryos developmental ability.Resveratrol, a natural antioxidant found in plants, can inhibit the generation of free radical, oxidation of lipid and regulate the enzyme activity related to antioxidant.
