1994年7月,本刊曾以《“世界屋脊”上的山东大汉——记山东籍援藏干部、阿里地委书记孔繁森》为题,在全国第一次于孔繁森同志生前系统介绍了他的感人事迹。今年9月21日,本刊记者有幸随同由省委常委、组织部长姜大明同志为团长的山东省委、省政府赴藏考察慰问团一行,再赴西藏,考察慰问山东省对口支援日喀则地区的第二批50名援藏干部。一路所见所闻,慰问团成员无不感动、骄傲和自豪。
