An on-site promotion meeting of the new line of ultra-high-yielding and good-quality wheat 90 (6) chaired by the Qingzong Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Qingnong Department of the Communist Youth League of Henan Province was held on May 22, 1999 in Lankao County, Henan Province. Li Ya, deputy secretary of the Communist Youth League of Henan Province, presided over the meeting. Fan Xia, former deputy director of Henan Provincial People’s Congress, Wang Xiaodong, minister of Qingnongyuan of the Communist Youth League, Li Qinggui, deputy secretary general of Henan Provincial Government, Li Junyao, deputy party secretary of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Wheat experts attended the meeting and spoke. High-yielding wheat 90 (6) is a science and technology project of Henan Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League focusing on propagation in 1999. He is a breeding expert in Henan Province who used bioengineering technology and adopted distant hybridization method, which lasted for 18 years and was successfully cultivated.
