随着现代社会迅猛的发展，我国与世界各国进行国际交流与合作日益频繁，作为国际语言的英语就越显重要，各类教育都开设英语课。学习者（主要是成人学习者）都急切想知道如何能在短时间内学好英语，尤其是如何能突玻英语学习中的难关：听力和词汇。笔者认为由于学习者英语水平的提高很大程度上在于学习者本人，而不是教师。因此，学习者有了学习动机以后，掌握科学的学习方法是学好英语的关键。本文主要论述了提高英语听力和扩大英语词汇量的一些科学的学习方法，旨在帮助英语学习者突玻英语学习中的难关。
With the rapid development of modern society, the international exchanges and cooperation between our country and other countries in the world are becoming more frequent. The more important is English as an international language, the more English classes are offered in all kinds of education. Learners (mainly adult learners) are eager to know how to learn English well in a short period of time. In particular, they can help to understand the difficulties in English learning: listening and vocabulary. The author believes that due to the improvement of learners’ English proficiency lies largely in the learner himself, not the teacher. Therefore, learners have the motivation to learn, master the scientific learning method is the key to learning English. This article mainly discusses some scientific learning methods to improve English listening comprehension and expand English vocabulary, which aims to help English learners to overcome difficulties in learning English.
