在曼彻斯特西边就是利物浦,位置在伦敦西北325公里,如果我们乘火车大概需2小时30分钟左右。利物浦在公元一世纪时还是现默济河口附近一个泥泞的小港湾,公元1 3世纪,泥塘被建成良港,开始了利物浦的百年繁荣。 不过以后的岁月里,“披头士”(The Beatles)成为了利物浦的标志,今天我们知道欧文、鲁尼等利物浦青年,我们更该知道“披头士”乐队的四人保罗·麦卡特尼、乔治·哈里森、林格·斯塔尔、约翰·列侬也都出生并成长在这里。
West of Manchester is Liverpool, 325 km northwest of London, if we take the train takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
