人力资源管理思想的发展与社会生产力水平是紧密联系的。从其演进历程看 ,虽然西方古人能注重对自然界和人类社会整体性、统一性的认识 ,但由于缺乏对整体各个细节的认识能力 ,所以那时的系统思想必然带有浓厚的猜测和思辨性质。近代机械观也把世界看作一个整体 ,虽然它并不符合系统思想 ,但在对人的管理思想方面 ,仍不乏当今系统思维的光辉。到了现代 ,以泰罗为代表的古典管理理论虽仍有机械论的色彩 ,但已开始注重人性问题。今天 ,与自然科学领域一样 ,系统思维已深入人力资源管理的理论与实践之中
