在近代中国，随着农村经济的衰落和农民生活的贫困，农民离村问题日益严重。农民离村的根源在于外国资本主义对农村自然经济的打击、封建统治者对农民的榨取以及天灾人祸对农民的侵害。农民离村冲击了农村经济，给城市造成了巨大压力，并且加剧了社会的动荡不安。同时，农民离村对近代中国社会也产生了一定的正面影响。
In modern China, with the decline of the rural economy and the poverty of the peasants, the problem of the peasants leaving the village is worsening. The root cause of peasants ’leaving the village lies in the blow of foreign capitalism to rural natural economy, the feudal rulers’ extraction of peasants and the infringement of peasants by natural and man-made disasters. The peasants’ impact on rural economy from their villages has caused tremendous pressure on the cities and aggravated social turmoil. At the same time, peasants’ leaving the village also had some positive impact on modern Chinese society.
