模块化舰炮的基本概念通用化、系列化和模块化即所谓的“三化”已成为现代武器装备发展的必然趋势和要求。“三化”提出的背景主要来自两个方面:第一,现代武器装备系统日趋复杂,价格日益昂贵,后勤保障日趋困难,军方必须在“买得起”、“用得起”和“养得起”的前提下进行武器装备的研发设计和采办,而实现“三化”是降低武器装备全寿命周期费用的最佳途径。第二,为了实现通用化和系列化,必须首先实现模块化。模块化是通用化的基础,系列化是通用化的结果。
