非物质文化遗产是中华民族传统文化中最优秀的部分之一,历经社会的沧桑变化仍然存在于现在的社会生活当中,充分展示了其顽强的生命力,同时作为传统文化的“活”的状态展示自己的多样姿态,成为我们认识中华民族传统文化的活化石。高等教育中加强非物质文化教育,既是加强非物质文化遗产的保护、传承中华民族优秀文化和精神的需要,也是提高学生品性修养、增强学生知识和创造力的需要。
