Hendiadys是英语中的一种修辞格.在笔者所接触的翻译与教学材料中,对该修辞格的误解与误译现象时有发生.本文中,笔者通过具体语言材料的分析与综合,找出了正确理解与翻译该修辞格的可供参考的途径.
Hendiadys is a kind of rhetorical device in English, and the phenomena of misunderstanding and mistranslation of the rhetorical device sometimes occur in the translation and teaching material that the author contacts.In this paper, I analyze and synthesize the specific language materials to find out A Correct Way to Understand and Translate This Figure of Speech.
