电大班主任是电大教学班教学和管理的具体组织者和领导者,对于实现教学班的各项任务具有举足轻重的作用。然而,由于电大学员多数来自工作单位,有一定的社会经验,比较成熟,学习形式基本是业余学习,上课来,下课走,基于此,“难管”,“不需要管”、靠学员自我管理”成了一些人的思维定势,我认为,电大学员的特点和电大教学的特点不能否定班主任的重要作用,而是对班主任工作提出了新的要求,这种新的要求就是电大班主任必须转变单纯“管”的观念,从根本上树立“服务意识”,这也许是我们逐步摸索到的做好电大班主任工作的一条路子。
