目前,本科生的英语基本上都具备一定的基础。然而,令人堪忧的是学生们的听力成绩却一直不怎么乐观,相对英语其他方面来说,是一个比较薄弱的领域,即使在课堂上学生们可以轻松明白地地听懂课堂上老师的口语,并且学生们对在听力课上的英语材料的大概意思也能掌握。但是,如果把学生们放在讲英语本地的地方,学生们在这样的场合下却难以听懂当地人的对话以及所表达的实际意思。所以,从这个角度出发,教师应该着重培养学生们的英语听力能力,提高学生的英语综合能力是当下教师应该多注意的问题。本文主要以图示理论为指导思想,研究用新的理论来支撑英语听力教学,提高学生的英语听力理解能力。在大学英语课堂上,听力是课堂上重要的组成部分。在传统的听力教学的模式下,学生的英语听力能力一直不是很乐观,所以,要改变这种现状,无论教师还是学生,都要做出相应的改变,探讨基于图示理论,听力理解应该怎么样进行提高和改善。
