With the gradual establishment and improvement of the socialist market economy in China, the government’s management functions have changed and the autonomy of enterprises has been expanded. This change has put forward new and higher requirements for the measurement of enterprises. The enterprise metrology management can only adapt to the new situation of the market economy only by implementing autonomous management. The self-management of enterprise measurement is a new problem faced by the enterprise’s metrology workers. It still needs to be seriously discussed and the author discusses some points on this issue. I.
