在英语教学中，适时适当地运用母语教学对学生更好地进行英语学习是大有裨益的。教师应在全面了解学生思维方式和学习习惯的基础上，把母语教学手段恰当地融入英语教学的过程中去，尽可能规避其消极影响并充分发挥它的积极作用，提升自己的教学水平和教学效果。本文重点阐述了母语在英语教学中所发挥的重要作用，并提出在英语教学中运用母语教学应该注意的问题，为英语教师提供参考与借鉴。“,”In English teaching, the use of mother - tongue teaching properly is of great help for students. Based on understanding the learning habit and the way of thinking, teacher could blend the mother tongue teaching means in process of English teaching, as far as possible to avoid its negative influence and give fullplay to its positive effect, improve their teaching level and teaching effects. This paper mainly states the impact of the mother tongue on English teaching and puts forward measures on using language teaching, and provide references for the vast number of English teachers.
